Easter Message  

Christ is risen! Alleluia! On behalf of Fr. Steve, Fr. Ted, Deacon Mark and Deacon Armando, I'm wishing you and your family a Happy Easter while you celebrate this great event amidst this corona virus pandemic.  We have been battling with death and some of our heroes on the front line, the doctors, nurses, health workers, caregivers, first responders, police officers, have done great sacrifices for us.  We too have given our share of sacrifice by depriving ourselves of the freedom to go out of our homes,  to socialize with friends and interact with the community. We have seen realities of dying in the last few days. In a way, the world, including us, have died with Christ while expecting for the resurrection. The resurrection is the source of undying hope for us Christians. We all know that Christ conquered death. In Christ, life triumphed and will continue to have the last word. Nature gives us that assurance. We see the trees having fresh green leaves again. We see flowers blooming in the  fields. We hear birds chirping and so happy to see the coming back to life of the earth. It is springtime, a constant reminder for us that life comes back to us again and again. That undefeated hope is the gift of Christ for us on Easter. You too have given hope to our Church. I thank you for your continued support even in the midst of this crisis. I thank you for your prayers and for your financial offerings which you have sent by mail, through online giving, or by dropping them in the office mailbox. You have sustained us during this time of crisis and I truly appreciate your generosity and kindness. Even though we may not be able to gather in the Church this Easter, let us celebrate it. Celebrate it in your homes. Celebrate it with your family. Celebrate it in your life. Let us always celebrate our being Easter people. Let us always be the source of hope for the world. Alleluia!

Mensaje Pascual  

¡Cristo ha resucitado! ¡Aleluya!.  En nombre del P. Steve, P. Ted, Diacono Mark y Diacono  Armando, les deseo a usted y a su familia un feliz Pascuas  mientras celebran este gran evento en medio de esta pandemia del virus covid-19 . Hemos estado luchando con la muerte y algunos de nuestros héroes en primera línea, los médicos, enfermeras, trabajadores de la salud, los de primero auxilio, los policias,  han hecho grandes sacrificios por nosotros.  Nosotros también  nos hemos privado de la libertad de salir de nuestros hogares para socializar con amigos e interactuar con la comunidad. Hemos visto la realidad de la muerte en los últimos días. En cierto modo, el mundo, incluyéndonos a nosotros, ha muerto con Cristo mientras  esperaba la resurrección. La resurrección es la fuente de la esperanza eterna para nosotros cristianos. Todos sabemos que Cristo conquistó la muerte. En Cristo, la vida triunfó y seguirá teniendo la última palabra. La naturaleza nos da esa seguridad. Vemos los árboles de nuevo con hojas verdes. Vemos flores floreciendo en los campos. Escuchamos a los pájaros cantando y tan felices de ver el regreso a la vida de la tierra. Es primavera, un recordatorio constante para nosotros de que la vida vuelve a nosotros una y otra vez. Esa esperanza invicta es el don de Cristo para nosotros en la Pascua. Ustedes también han dado esperanza a nuestra Iglesia. Les agradezco su continuo apoyo incluso en medio de esta crisis. Les agradezco por sus oraciones y por sus ofrendas financieras que han enviado por correo, a través de la entrega en línea, o dejándolas en el buzón de la oficina parroquial . Nos ha sostenido durante estos  tiempos de crisis y realmente aprecio su generosidad y amabilidad. Aunque no podamos reunirnos en la Iglesia esta Pascua, celebrémosla. Celébrenlo en sus casas. Celebre con su familia. Celebra tu vida. Celebremos siempre nuestro pueblo de Pascua. Seamos siempre la fuente de esperanza para el mundo. ¡Aleluya!
