We are glad to help you in the baptism of your child. We thank you for making this important decision to raise your child in the Catholic faith.

DOCUMENTS TO PREPARE 


Here are the documents that you need to prepare and submit to the Parish Office.

 1) Baptism Registration  Form  ( Can be obtained from Beaumont/Banning/St. Mary's offices )

     or you can down load it from this site. Link to the form is in the bottom of this page. You may send the

     completed   from via email.  
 

 2) A copy of your child's Birth Certificate ( you may also send this via email together with the                            Registration Form.

 

3). If you have not yet registered as a parishioner of St. Kateri, we encourage you to register now. The form is available at the parish office or can be downloaded here and send it back to us via email. 

 
BAPTISMAL PREPARATION CLASSES


English Preparation Class is conducted every first Friday of the month from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Parish Hall in Beaumont Site.  Call Vic and Mhin Gonzales at 909-996-4664


Spanish Preparation Class is conducted every first Saturday of the month from 3:00 pm- 6:00 pm in the Ministry Center in Banning Site. Call Deacon Armando and Ana Luevano at 951-826-1637 or 951-826-1611.


Due to Covid-19 pandemic, we understand the difficulty of attending an in person preparation and so we will accept certificates if you take one of these  on line classes. We will require certificates of completion from Parents and Godparents.  Baptismal Preparation Classes that are available  online:

BAPTISM CELEBRATION


Baptism celebrations are done every Third Saturday of the month:  9:00  A.M. in English  and  10:30  A.M.

in Spanish. The celebration is held at the Banning Site: 157 W. Nicolet St., Banning, CA 92220 


GOD PARENTS


Godparents serve as the second parents of the child in teaching the Catholic faith. They must be good role-models who can give witness to the Child on how to live their Catholic faith. If the Godparents to be are married, they must be living the Sacrament of Matrimony. If the person is single, he/she must be at least 16 years old and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
